Okay, so once again I started to blog a wedding and realized I never blogged their engagement session! Whoops! So here is Ashley & Tristan 🙂
This wedding was a very last minute booking for me (two weeks before the big day actually!) but I was very excited to be a part of it. These two lovely ladies have been together for over 15 years and finally got the opportunity to get married. They were surrounded by family and close friends and you could feel all the love and happiness that surrounded them that day.
Oh and their grandkids were a total hoot! They shared the ringbearer/flowergirl roles and first the each came down the aisle, each holding a pillow with a ring, totally somber and very slowly and carefully. Then they walked back, just as slowly and somber and came back up the aisle with the flower petals. I don’t think I have even seen flower petals tossed with such gusto! 🙂
LOVE IT!
During Jennie & Bryan’s engagement session, I was able to see their wedding location (Bryan’s family farm) and after hearing all about their plans, I could not wait to see it all come together! It was gorgeous! The girls from K&B Events did a fantastic job with all the details. It was such an honor to photograph their wedding – Jennie is an amazing wedding photographer herself, so the pressure was really on. 🙂
We headed down to the dock to do a first look — always one of my favorite times of the day!
Then it was off to the farm for the ceremony! There was no detail left out — even the hayride to the ceremony location had lots of lovely pillows and blankets.
The reception was by far my favorite. Everything was just lovely 🙂
A fun shot of the lively bridal party 🙂
Congratulations you guys! Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your big day!

I got ready to blog Jennie & Bryan’s wedding and then I realized I never blogged their engagement session! So I’m putting up two blog posts today 🙂
We met at Bryan’s family farm (where their wedding will he held) to get some fun shots of these two. They love to go fishing, so we ended our session with a quick fishing trip. 🙂
