\n<\/a>You seriously could not have asked for a more perfect day to get married than the one Amber and David got for their wedding. \u00a0I got a chance to really get to know this couple last fall at their engagement session<\/a> and I was really excited for their wedding. \u00a0 The ceremony was at the beautiful Baywood Greens.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tears started flowing when she read a sweet note from David.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

Then it was David’s turn for tears when he saw his beautiful bride coming down the aisle.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The reading was so beautiful that I really wanted to share it with you. \u00a0It’s called “Why Marriage” by Mari Nichols-Haining<\/p>\n

Because to the depths of me, I long to love one person,
\nWith all my heart, my soul, my mind, my body…<\/p>\n

Because I need a forever friend to trust with the intimacies of me,
\nWho won’t hold them against me,
\nWho loves me when I’m unlikable,
\nWho sees the small child in me, and
\nWho looks for the divine potential of me…<\/p>\n

Because I need to cuddle in the warmth of the night
\nWith someone who thanks God for me,
\nWith someone I feel blessed to hold…<\/p>\n

Because marriage means opportunity
\nTo grow in love in friendship…<\/p>\n

Because marriage is a discipline
\nTo be added to a list of achievements…<\/p>\n

Because marriages do not fail, people fail
\nWhen they enter into marriage
\nExpecting another to make them whole…<\/p>\n

Because, knowing this,
\nI promise myself to take full responsibility
\nFor my spiritual, mental and physical wholeness
\nI create me,
\nI take half of the responsibility for my marriage
\nTogether we create our marriage…<\/p>\n

Because with this understanding
\nThe possibilities are limitless.<\/p>\n
