We spent part of our July 4th weekend at the rodeo<\/a> in Frederick, MD. \u00a0I wasn’t sure what to expect, but we had fun! \u00a0I processed these a little differently than normal to give them a true “western” feel. \u00a0Before the show started, children were allowed to come out and take a turn on fake bull. \u00a0Molly watched intently for a long time before finally deciding she wanted to try. \u00a0And she wanted Daddy to take her. \u00a0Of course, as they walked over there, an announcement was made that they were closing the line. \u00a0I assumed my husband didn’t hear them because he kept right on walking. \u00a0No one said anything to them, but after it was all done, I said “I guess you didn’t hear the announcement then?” \u00a0He replied: “Yeah, I heard it. \u00a0And if they wanted to look at her and tell her she couldn’t have a turn . . .well, they’re bigger men than me. \u00a0I wasn’t about to tell her no after she waiting so long to build up her courage.” \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

CJ was diggin’ the country music. \u00a0He bopped up and down all night. \u00a0He’s been giving me the cheesiest grins lately and I can’t get enough of them!

One of my favorite parts – wild cow milking. \u00a0Yup, it’s just what it sounds like. \u00a0Grab a bunch of volunteers from the stands, give them a cup and throw a few wild cows in. \u00a0First team to fill the bottom of their cup with milk (and then drink it) wins!<\/p>\n

Molly wasn’t a big fan of the actual bull riding. \u00a0She didn’t like seeing the cowboys getting thrown off.<\/p>\n
