Since I’m no longer taking on any weddings or portrait sessions, you’ll be seeing a lot more of my personal photos for the next two months.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Molly doesn’t turn two until September 10th, but with a baby due on August 29th (ACK!), I decided I’d rather have her party early and do it pregnant than with a newborn in tow.\u00a0 I decided on a sock monkey theme and I must say, it turned out super cute.<\/p>\n

Her new balance bike from Mommy & Daddy.\u00a0 If you’ve never heard of these, it’s a pretty neat idea.\u00a0 Usually kids go from a tricycle to a bike with training wheels to a bike with no training wheels.\u00a0 Well, the concept of balance bikes is that you go straight from this bike to a regular bike with no training wheels.\u00a0 You’ll notice the bike has no pedals — she has to use her feet to move it.\u00a0 As she gets bigger and gains more coordination, she’ll go faster and faster and start to pick up her feet and coast.\u00a0 So, hopefully she’ll learn to balance a bike with a little less fear than sticking her ontop of a regular bike where she can’t reach the ground.\u00a0\u00a0 We’ll see.\u00a0 But my husband and I were pretty excited about it.<\/p>\n
