A Black and White Kind of Session [Middletown Delaware Family Photographer]

Christine and I met through a moms club about a year and a half ago when our toddlers where only a few months old.  We’ve become moms club drop-outs, but we still hang out at least once a week.  I was so glad we were able to squeeze this session in since her husband is only home for a couple weeks.

I’ve been on a bit of a color kick with my photos lately, but as I was pulling out a few of my favorites for a blog post, I found myself prefering the black and white versions best.

I love the feel of this one . . . having little brother in the background just makes the shot!

and just to prove I do have plenty of color ones in the bunch too, here’s one of Mom and Dad.  Love you guys!

Kim & Brian MARRIED! [Delaware Wedding Photographer]

Church:  Holy Trinity Episcopal Church

Reception:  Radley Run Country Club

Videographer: Martin’s Video

Friday ended up being a great day for Kim and Brian’s wedding!   It was so nice to be out shooting weddings again.

Mom played triple duty as mother of the bride, maid of honor and make-up artist.

Gorgeous, right?

I was laughing so hard watching the groomsmen try to pin their boutineers on.  This was one funny group of guys!

There were so many great places to shoot at Radley Run.

I love how happy they both look here.  I think this may be one of my favorite shots from the day.

Emotional toast from Mom.

And an even more emotional speech from the bride.

A steamy dance to end the evening.

Congratulations guys!  I’ll be posting these and even more images from the day on my facebook page — so be sure to become a fan so you can see them!

Baby A {Delaware Newborn Photographer} « Erin Farrell Photography BLOG - […] feels like just yesterday I was photographing mom and dad’s wedding and now they’ve got a brand new little boy.  Baby A is just about as cute as they come. […]

Family Time

With all the attention on the new baby, we decided it would be good to enroll Molly in ballet class.  The cuteness of all those little girls in their ballet gear is beyond words.  Molly was so excited to go!

Enjoying a lollipop after class.

Baby CJ is doing well too.  He is still in that ‘eat and sleep all day long’ mode and I’m getting up every two hours at night to feed him.  Not to mention, Molly has started getting out of bed in the middle of the night and climbing into bed with us . . . needless to say, I’m not getting a whole lot of sleep right now.   I just keep telling myself “it’s going to get better . . .it’s going to get better”.

And it looks like CJ might end up with red hair!  It’s mainly noticeable in the natural sunlight though, so not sure if he’ll keep it.  I so hope he does since I love redheaded children.  🙂

I’m back to work this weekend though!  Photographing Kim and Brian’s wedding on Friday so be sure to check back soon!

10 Days Old [Delaware Newborn Photographer] « Erin Farrell Photography BLOG - […] the session, we were talking about ballet and how she sends her daughter to the same ballet school Molly went to briefly last year.  She mentioned how her daughter had a hard time being left alone in class so she had to go in […]

Introducing Christopher James

“CJ” finally made his way into the world on September 8th . . . a week and half past his due date and two days before his big sister’s birthday.  A healthy 8 pounds, 13 ounces and 22 inches.  And no epidural.  Yup, you heard that right . . . I had an almost 9 pound baby with no pain meds at all.  I am woman, hear me roar.

Mind you, this was not by choice.  We barely made it to the hospital in time — we quite literally got checked into a room and he was born seven minutes later.  It was slightly crazy.  I guess once he finally made up his mind to join us, he didn’t waste any time!

The downside is that I had planned on having my sister in the delivery room with me taking pictures like during my first delivery.  Needless to say, she didn’t make it to the hospital in time.  But once she got there, she started snapping away.  So here are some shots she got.

And here are some I’ve taken since we’ve been home.

With big sister, Molly.

how cute are these dimples?
